A bit disappointed in this one. It’s fine, but lots of room for improvement. I feel like this book really wasted a lot of time in the middle that would have been better spent furthering the intrigue into Winnie’s father or all the strange things around
what is the whisperer or why everyone is ignoring it. Those items were just offhandly sort of addressed and moved on from with no real conclusion by the end of the book
. The ending felt like all of a sudden a ton of plot was happening. It left me feeling kind of rushed and unsatisfied since it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger that I felt could definitely have been addressed in this book. It feels like the author is trying to drag the story out into a series. Though I did not see
the twist that her dad was framed
coming at the end I felt like I could predict from early on
that the werewolf was benevolent and most likely Jay
