Full disclosure, I had already watched the series adaptation and knew I liked it. It was really good to listen to this one, due to the nature of the story, it felt like Hannah was also talking to us.

Obviously it is an upsetting subject, but it is done really well. It doesn't shy away from the difficult topics. It's important people are heard, and that is very much put across.

Considering it is pretty short, there is a lot packed in and you still feel like you know the characters. At least through Hannah and Clay's eyes. Very well done. Though I would have perhaps liked more insight into how the others felt who listened to the tapes.
