Ive heard so much about this comic series. My goal 2022 was more comic books.
🎨 Illustrations-
The composition for this comic gave me dark gothic vibe. The contrast of warm & cool colors scheme with gold was beautiful. It drew me into the story and the world
🗺Wordbuilding-
Absolutely insane--- From the different species, powerful entities, and secerts.
The high stakes blew me away. They way the author set the pace was perfect. I loved the little tibits from Professor Tam Tam the cat🤣.
🎇Overall
Mariki Halfwolf was cool protagonist with little bit of villain vibe. She is headstrong and on a mission to find a missing pieces to her mother's story, a magic mask, and possible understand the mysterious of the Shaman-empress.
So much continues to unfold, from different courts and even monsters. That I can't wait to dive into part 2 of this fast pace and colorful comic.
Also, I oved the Egyptian / temple vibes & anesthetic.
The villians are badass🔥🔥🔥🔥
Mother Superior face is ugly🤣🤣🤣 no wonder she wears a mask!
I have so many questions 🤓!
