Set Me on Fire
by Sam Hall
- I liked the beginning when the love interests first met. It gave fated mates vibes so maybe I'll try one of Hall's paranormal stories.
- The pacing was off. Majority of the story takes place in the first few weeks of Millie's pregnancy and then there were several time jumps to wrap up the book. I would've preferred if the length of the book was better distributed.
- The male leads were nearly indistinguishable. Knox was supposed to be the protector, Noah the second chance romance, and Charlie the playboy turned husband, but often I had to return to the start of the chapter to remember whose perspective I was reading because they sounded similar.
Rating Deductions:
-0.25 for length and pacing
-0.25 for the "wedding"
-0.25 for not revealing the bio dad in this book
