Whooof! Powerful, prescient, and pertinent. Published in 1938, this short story could just as easily been written last week (though perhaps with Trump and MAGA as the central figures.)
It's challenging to write too much without giving everything away, seeing that this book is only 67 pages long, but this is simultaneously a tale of terrible heartbreak and sweet revenge. Worth every word.
