Hockey romance fans, this is so good. Non hockey romance fans, you might like this too. It’s “kicking my feet and giggling” cute from start to finish, with amazing art between chapters and slow-burn grumpy/sunshine goodness. I’d also say it’s “rivals to lovers”, but off the ice the rivalry is blatantly one-sided (with our sunshine boy trying to win grumpy’s friendship). Just good vibes in a book. Helped me with my reading slump.

I’m really hoping this is the start to a robust series and hockey  universe. I want more of Alex and Noah’s story, as well as their friends’ romances as well.

Spice: 2/5 (slow build and worth it imo)
Angst: 2/5

5 Stars if Alex and Noah’s story continues, 4.5 if it doesn’t. (Good world building set up if it continues, but I have questions that need answering)
