A hell of a Fanonian, Oedipal, and biblical time, but all for what! Depression?

Too realistic to be deemed historic (even if it’s speculative) and too fantastic to meet my needs of literary and realist reading. Though I think this was about as close to tailor-made for my tastes that I will ever come across as far as science-fiction books go. Insatiable I am. Sue me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Upon further introspection I think I’m just jealous of the author.
