The Deepest Blue: Tales of Renthia by Sarah Beth Durst
4.0
Death is blue.
Black blue, churned by storms,
Green blue, stained by kelp,
Pale blue, bleached by sun,
The turquoise blue of the sea’s shallows,
And the deepest blue of its depths.
This book was so good. I think it may be my favorite book out of the Renthia novels. The characters were very well done and I loved the islands this story took place on. There were so many twist and turns and I loved all of it. Mayara is such an amazing main character and I loved her character development. I loved the spirits again in this novel and I loved the creatures in the deepest blue. Roe was also an amazing character. I hope more books will come out set in this vivid and whimsical world.
