I kept picturing Shrek gingerbread men.
loved Bob, Mona's Aunt and Uncle, and Spindle. Spindle made me smile, gingle or laugh.
It starts out like a murder mystery when Mona, this young baker, finds a body, but it turns into a coming-of-age story real fast, in a crazy political mess.
Disliked the incompetence of the Duchess it does get mentioned that "yeah.. i know it sucks. But no one should have all the power" Made me think of the climate of the USA. Great conversation starter.
