I think possibly the funniest part of this book was when Anne was in the right frame of mind for a love letter, and then a ridiculous number of pages would be omitted. Like, Anne, what kind of scandalous detail are you putting in your letters such that they are unsuitable for publication? Other than that, there was a disappointing lack of Gilbert, so I can only give it 4/5
