Well that was dark. This is NOT a romance, this is a captor/Stockholm syndrome situation that is absolutely violent and brutal. There are zero redeeming qualities anywhere, and I was thoroughly floored by the visceral reaction I felt towards the gory bits. It's dark here, I liked it.
