With sequels, I honestly don’t know how they are going to turn out. But this? I was looking forward to.
And it did not disappoint.
Melissa perfectly expanded the world and lore, which I was looking forward to. I also love how the stakes are raised for individual characters and on a big scale because it had a great balance. But the book ended with the stakes raised higher than ever before, so I’m super excited for the next book.
I also loved exploring more about Keera’s past because it is so heartbreaking and helps you understand her better.
