I think this is one of those books that I just feel iffy about because it's hard to really like something that was so disturbing to read. I really liked the first third of the book. The characters and relationships were set up really well and I felt that their POVs were very distinct and descriptive. I did not expect the plot twist at all that happened about halfway through the book and that really sparked my interested - I stayed up very late reading. This book got really dark and kind of reminded me of the villains in "Criminal Minds" - it's descriptive and doesn't hold back at all, which I appreciate because it tells a fictional but very real story. All in all, I thought it was well done.
