The Worthwhile Bounty by H. V. Rosemarie

An intriguing follow up to the series
DISCLAIMER: This review is going to be different from my usual ones because this series is not available for purchase anymore and I don't think it will ever be again ;)
I was intrigued about what would happen after the third book, and I did not expect this jump in time. It was a good one, though, because otherwise, things might have been a little redundant. I liked the new characters quite a lot, they were interesting and brought a new light to the series. Sera was true to herself and I liked seeing her evolve into this book as a mother. However, I found it a bit slow again, although the new plotlines were intriguing. I'm really puzzled about the ending, though. It doesn't really feel like a real ending and I wonder if this one was really meant to be the last one in the series or if the author simply decided to stop writing as they removed the books from purchase... I guess I'll never know and I'm a bit bummed about it because I quite enjoyed this story, this world and these characters.
