The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving by Jonathan Evison

Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.
Review by a social worker who works with individuals are aging, disabled, and/or unhoused:
Some of the words and phrases the author used rubbed me the wrong way and came off as entirely problematic coming from a male author. The caregiving relationship kinda sucked and did not empower Trev to do much of anything. It also seemed like Ben was truly punching in and out of shifts, and did not care for the well-being of Trev. The narration of Ben’s thoughts of women and his horrible excuses to Janet turned me off. Putting this book down for a book at makes me feel good.
