A lot of the criticisms I’ve seen about this is that the main character isn’t likeable, but imo that’s the point. Without spoiling too much, she’s just been through some stuff and I think her personality is a reflection of that/reaction to it. I think she’s more so a victim of her circumstances more than anything else, and I personally find characters who are morally grey or “shitty people” interesting.
