To use Jay Kristoffs own words: This book is a screaming killfest. It's ugly, it's bloody, it's fast, it's tragic, it's incredible.

I loved the first book, I liked the middle child and I really liked the last one. Throughout the whole book I was patting myself on the back, thinking "hey, you're holding it together pretty well, not loosing your shit despite all these cool characters being dismembered and stuff", but the last two pages finally had me in tears.

Thank you Jay Kristoff for this great series. I will miss Yukiko and Buruu, Hana and Yoshi, Michi, Akihito ... all of them.

Write more books mister! I will read them all.
