Switched on Pop: How Popular Music Works, and Why It Matters by Charlie Harding, Nate Sloan

Did not finish book.
This is a great introduction to music theory through popular music. The analysis is very interesting but having taken graduate-level music theory classes I  got bored reading about the basics, just through a different musical repertoire. I definitely recommend this if you're new to these concepts and want to learn more but with music you may already know.
