hopeful mysterious

4.0

i liked this! the gothic vibes, the melodramatic characters, the writing style (at least the english translation that i read) are all wonderful. a nice surprise from a required reading for class. it did kind of morph into
a love story with a sappy ending
but overall i found this entertaining and mysterious.
