I didnt finish this book. I couldnt do it. Orlaith annoys me. Her relationship with Rhordyn makes me sick. Im sure the book isnt meant to romaticize it but its coming off as romaticized when it is an extremely inappropriate relationship. He's raised her since she was 2. Its grooming. I want to get over it but I cant. Dark romance is different than literal grooming. There is nothing romatic about it. It just gives me major ick. I know other people really like this series but I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy it with how uncomfortable it made me.
