4 Granger Brother Stars
This is the first book in The Grangers Series where we are introduced to 3 very sexy Granger brothers. While this first book focuses on Jace, the eldest brother, we get an overall introduction to the Granger family and I feel like I got to know all of the brothers.
This book definitely reads as a mystery/suspense romance. The Granger Dad was convicted of murdering their mother and while all three brothers still hold on to the belief of their father's innocence, they each dealt with the trauma in their own way. They all fled from their hometown to escape but return upon the death of their grandfather who makes them promise to take on the family business Granger Aeronautics.
For unknown reasons the once lucrative family business is in the decline and Shana is hired as a consultant to investigate. The attraction between Shana and Jace is instant. The chemistry is undeniable and the fact that they both fight their feelings for a while makes their eventual union explosive. The steamy scenes while to some extent is descriptive reads rather tame in this book.
I loved Jace! He was strong and sexy but at the same time he was the most responsible, mature brother. The other brothers are more carefree and live the playboy lifestyle and I especially can't wait to read Dalton's story. The mystery of proving their father's innocence is also unsolved in this first book but I think this book is complete enough to be read as a standalone.
