At first, Powerless was kinda fun. But it got cringey REALLY quick. First, Kai is annoying and a hypocrite. Dude, stop pretending you are above murdering a woman. “Who hurt you” my ass. Also, Paedyn’s not that much better. She’s a “cool girl.” She’s sassy, talks smack, and is really good at fighting. I’ve definitely never seen that female archetype before. Lastly, this book reads so YA. It feels like a bad amalgamation of 4 different books I read when I was 14.
