Lapvona by Ottessa Moshfegh

Did not finish book. Stopped at 39%.
I've read Moshfegh's other work My Year of Rest and Relaxation, and thought that her other works would interest me. I love character focused stories where maybe not much happens overall, but we're deep in within the psyche of the characters.

For Lapvona, however, it's character driven but in a disgusting way. This is not for the faint of heart. It's all of the darkness of humanity in one novel. Just a whole lotta talk about shit, and deplorable acts involving a motherfucking grape.
