A solid, twisted, tale.
I've seen this book everywhere lately, so I had to give it a chance. I did enjoy the premise and the unique spin of paranormal-esque/folklore style of story. I wasn't sure what to expect when picking up the story, but I am glad I did.
It might not have been scary and I felt the gore/horror was rather mild, but I did find the underlying "life lessons" coiled around some of the characters. They are exceedingly flawed which makes for an even better read.
