Some of the “horse-ness” of it all got really overwhelming. To the point where I had to check if this was satire. Just some of the cringiest sentences I’ve ever read about horses and not tongue in cheek in the slightest, unfortunately. Which took me out of what was otherwise a fairly decent love story. The author also seems to have an issue with women and female characters who aren’t her MC. It was overall slightly
bizarre. But at least the smut was good and the romance was decent.
