The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
by C.S. Lewis
"at the sound of His roar, sorrows will be no more."
i first read the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe when i was 8 years old. i was in a foreign country, and my parents were adopting my younger brother. i have distinct memories of reading this on my old kindle, while lying on my parents bed (i'm not sure where my parents were). i don't remember much about the actual reading experience, only that i spent all day on that bed, reading. i was so proud of myself afterwards
