The Last Restaurant in Paris
by Lily Graham
I could not put this book down! There wasn’t a single page that was uninteresting, it was the fastest I have ever finished a book. Also the best WWII story that I have read. I knew that Elodies story would reveal itself to be a good one but it was still such a mystery the whole time. I loved the full circle moments where Gilbert was saying his perspective on certain moments and then at the end of the book elodies perspectives on those same moments once we learned more about her story. Part 2 of the Book was the saddest, about her childhood and jaques dying after reading about how they fell in love. I also loved that Sabine and Gilbert were able to change how people rememered elodie and brought her justice by opening up a new restaurant in her old one. Gilbert finally was able to see the death of his brother with a new understanding which I loved. I will always recommend this book to people!! 10/10 fr fr
