Did not finish book. Stopped at 42%.
Started skimming @ Chapter 21.
Gave up and eventually DNF-ed this @ Chapter 25.
I really want to give this book a chance but it just made me annoyed even more and eventually I'm just starting to dislike this book. First, there is no chemistry and sexual tensions going on. The timeline is sloppy that it had me confused most of the time. I also wanted to see when they started to genuinely like each other but, alas, there's none. I found the FMC unbearably annoying too. And I was expecting her paper to be somewhat the center of this book but when I stopped at almost 50%, it seems like her paper was pushed aside and was barely mentioned. Like I wanted to see what data she's actually inputting or basically just something about her paper since that started all of this. And also, I dont get why there's so many names in this book. That actually made me even more confused because they don't seem to contribute to the whole plot.
Anyway. I kept seeing this on my twitter feed and decided to give it a try but I was only left annoyed and disappointed. I was able to scroll through until the end of the book though and I liked how the epilogue was set so many years after.
