I believe I may have become obsessed with Daisy Jane because of the first two Wrench Kings books. I decided to read the first book before reading the second one when it was sent to me and I’m so glad I did both books are incredible!

So first we have Goldie who’s a high maintenance white collared woman who seems to come off as judgemental and she’s been moulded that way by her mother. In the beginning Goldie is been trying to find her way again after losing her job.
Atticus is a gruff, greasy mechanic who from the first book we know is silent, keeps to himself, sometimes coming off as rude.
Goldie and Atticus sort of have a disliking for each other in the beginning even though they don’t really know each other however Goldie reminds Atticus of the type of girls he really just doesn’t like.
When Goldie and Atticus get snowed in at a cabin together their walls begin to break down and they get a different look into who each other are. We get to see both characters break through and work on past trauma.
I absolutely loved the buildup in this story, watching both characters who have had some terrible things happen to them work on themselves to be better for each other was inspiring.
And boy was this book hot. The spicy scenes in this were insane. Atticus was a bit of a soft dom and god the things that man said and did had me weakkkkk.
I definitely recommend giving this book a read! Thanks again to Smuthood Tours and Daisy Jane for this book! I’m excited to read more of her works!
