Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence by Max Tegmark

This took me a very long time to read because of how dense it is, and I don’t think it’s all that accessible to people outside of the fields of physics, mathematics, or computer science. On the surface it takes you down many paths to really process not only which directions AI/AGI could change the way things are now but also where you, as the reader, stand in all of this. But reading everything in detail is challenging, especially if you don’t think about the future of (or even currently) your existence on a daily basis. But I appreciate how exploratory and detailed it is, because the book will be a nice reference point as AI increases in precedence and shapes how society grows and changes.
