Such a scrumptious read!!!! The world building, the characters, the story are all so divine!!! Sophia crafted such a thoughtful portrayal of SI and SA survivorship that were both so deeply tender without being needlessly traumatizing. While it’s heart wrenching to think about why these elements may have been so well-written, this story is a balm to the soul. The various relationships, especially feral partners and protectors of youth/servants, were all so well developed and joyful to experience!! I also really enjoyed Sophia bringing in her own Sámi heritage through Ila!! Literally so many delicious elements to this story - I can’t wait to read more and force everyone I ever talk to to read it!!!
