Honestly, this book gives me fanfiction vibes to it. I thought the idea of romance-thriller would be cute which it was until the end. The end really ruined it for me honestly. There was not enough character development or plot to make me want to read the second book. The cliffhanger was not done well. I have no intention of wasting my time reading the second book. If this was a stand alone book, it would be better.
