this was a great intro to this new series about the haven brothers. josiah & audrey were so fun to read about. their first meeting was everything. it was cute, hot and funny. but my absolute favorite was every time josiah thought about her or saw her after that, he would say “She’s not my problem.” until ultimately he switches it up and is like “Who am I kidding. she is my problem.” screaming. crying.
i was KICKING my feet in the air when they first kissed. TELL ME THAT WASNT HOT. dont worry, i’ll wait.
this was a great romance suspense. i loved that the stalker got a pov. his pov had me like WHO ARE YOU!!!?? REVEAL YOURSELF. imma tell you rn, i had no idea it was who it was. let’s just say that. WELL DONE CLAIRE!
the town meeting about the squirrels sent me into another dimension lmfao and what i loved most was that at the time that I read this, I hadn’tread the bailey brothers yet, but it didn’t make me feel like i was missing something. so this is for sure a complete standalone.
loved & def recommend if you love small town, grumpy/sunshine, & suspense.
