- a quick, fun and easy read
- so unbelievably cheesy and there are some scenes that are a bit cringe, but that's teen romance for ya
- Arthur's character kind of annoyed me because he had such high expectations but it's resolved by the end (and also he's 16!) so it's not too bad. I disliked how it made Ben feel like he was doing something wrong for somehow not living up to these unrealistic expectations of a magic, musical-like romance because it's not like he can really help it - he's the normal one in the relationship.
- I'm kind of glad that Ben and Arthur's relationship was somewhat awkward at first because it seemed more realistic.
