ARC Review
This book is even better than the first!
We have more of the great elements we saw in book one, such as the world building and fantastic characters, but this book really delivered in the yearning and romantic tension department which made such a difference.
We saw more of Clarissa and explored the strength of her character and we were introduced to Thorne, whose character is wonderful!
Yet again there were other amazing side characters, including cameos of the best from book one. We also explored the magic system in a different way which was also exciting. To top it all off, the plot was really intriguing and kept me hooked.
I had worked out the big surprise before it happened, but I think that with the breadcrumbs littered throughout the story you were meant to. There were still many surprises along the way.
I’ll definitely be following the rest of this series!
