I found waxy particularly enjoyable, and wasn’t surprised to learn it was the story from this collection that was published first. But on the whole I found a lot of these stories rather bland and uninteresting, felt like it would have had much more of an impact on me if it was 4/5 more fleshed out stories instead of 13 mixed tales
