I really really loved this! It was fast paced and it kept my attention. I picked it up on a whim because I wanted to deinfluence my reading somewhat, and I'm so glad I did. It was funny, engaging, it was in many ways your kind of typical romantasy, however I found the world-building and the magic system in particular a lot more complex than other romantasies I have read. I did take me a minute to kind of settle into the world and the magic system and the politics of it all but once I did that I had a blast. I loved all the characters and I appreciated all their points of view within the book. I also appreciated the depiction of PTSD thought I can't comment on the accuracy of it. Also Vitaly Rysakov the man you are!!Nothing sexier then a man who loudly loves his wife But also Vasilisa, that girl had me swooning. Safe to say thoroughly enjoyed!
