I loved the way Jill Gutowitz describes being a woman who came of age in the 2000s. So many of the images, people, and stories she describes from pop culture in those formative years resonated deeply with me—things my 13 year old brain absorbed and held onto well into my adulthood. This essay collection is sharp and thoughtful and poignant. What a delight.
