well booktok didn’t lie about this one right here being a dark romance for the first time I actually got giggling at how unholy something that was not a fanfiction was so if you are looking for ao3: #dead-dove-do-not-eat this book is def for you (if not: do not read, or go in only after reading about the trigger warnings bc it’s a lot)
also I didn’t know I needed a “villain” to not have a tragic and sad background to justify their choices to become a villain, reading the male protagonist make it clear that he had no tragic past made everything more fresh (and hot tbh)
