The Thousand Names by Django Wexler

4.0

Interesting flintlock fantasy. The author acknowledges that the various army formations were borrowed from Napoleonic history.

For me, this was a real page burner. Excellent character development and vivid descriptions of the landscapes involved. The battles are the main themes of the story until we learn about "The Thousand Names."
