i’ve been saying all of this for years
ok i’ll say more bc it’s what my fans have come to expect of me.
there may not be as much octopus stuff as the reader would hope—the octopus action is more of a vehicle for our relationship to the world and the nature of consciousness. theres probablt more murder than there is octopus in the book but that’s showbiz.
some might say the ending is bizarre and resolves nothing. i say it actually makes sense and u are just not a high level thinker like me or an octopus.
if u want to know what the octopuses are trying to say, u will not find out.
