Kingdom of the Wicked

3.5⭐️
I enjoyed this more than I think I should've...
Reasons I enjoyed:
- LOVE the premise of the storyline and where it takes place (Sicily, Italy. With a big empsasis on Witches, Demons and Catholicism).
- The audiobook is also pretty good with some great sound effects that keep you engaged.
- I think the relationship between the two main characters has a lot of potential in the future books.
Reasons I shouldn't have enjoyed as much as I did:
- It was quite predictable
- It didn't really give you a great visual of where you were throughout the story.
- A lot of the plot line was given in dialogue rather than the reader having to try to figure it out.
- Not a lot of critical thinking by the main characters either.
As much as I am left a little confused and with a lot of questions, I am hoping they will be answered in the second of the series and am very keen to pick up the next one!!
