I thought this was a brilliant end in the Ruby Redfort series. Loved the twists, and seeing details mentioned in the first book, come to fruition. Also enjoyed the character development if many of the characters, Clancy in particular.
[side note: it took me until book 5 to realise it was set in the 1970s. Aside from not using computers, cellphones and other gadgets- spectrum gear aside- I didn't find that the series read like it was set then. Which perhaps is a positive as it didn't grab onto 70s stereotypes.]
