Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I'm in a bit of a reading slump right now, but I think in another point of my life, I may have rated this book higher. I love Nisha's books and have read all of them, and Trial of the Sun Queen (the first installment of this series) was one of my favorites of the year I read it!

I had a bit of trouble staying in tune with all of the different plot points going on, and connecting it to the other books. But this may be because I read them as they came out and no in sequence. I will always be a Lor and Nadir stan and I loved how their relationship came to full fruition in this installment. The ending of this book took after SJM and was absolutely action packed!!

I will continue to read all of Nisha's books, but i'm sad this series is over!
