Damien Stark I love... Pageant girl Nikki, not so much. There's something about her I couldn't put my finger on that just made me yawn over her.
Maybe it's because the plot line has been done and I've read umpteen other books like this series, I'm not sure... But some parts of this book had me going, "honestly!?".
I'm not saying it's not a steamy read or a bad read. It certainly kept me entertained (and I'm sure I'm being of very little help on this review), but as much as I enjoyed it, I did do a fair amount of eye-rolling as well. I am anxious to get to book three and see how their story ends.
