I liked this one more than the previous one. The story kept me guessing till almost the end and I liked Barney. I'm now accepting that

Lacey's and Joesbury's relationship is going to move at a snail's pace. I almost want to reread the first one again to see why these two like each other so much because I can't remember it all. In the last two books, they really didn't interact all that much.

I do wish that Bolton would have a tighter narrative though because I realized that after speeding through it because I couldn't put it down, not a lot actually happened.
