Spidey, Volume 1: First Day by Robbie Thompson

2.0

It's ok. I'm not sure what the point of it is or why it exists, though. It's a new Spider-Man series set when he's in high school, but the setting is clearly modern day, with current pop culture references, and it's running concurrently with other Spider-Man titles, also set in the present. But Iron Man is wearing his Silver Age costume. I guess you're just not supposed to think about it. Peter looks like Andrew Garfield for some reason, but it apes the visual design of Aunt May from the much better Ultimate Spider-Man.

The best parts of it are Peter's interactions with Gwen Stacy, and when he's in costume as Spider-Man, quipping and wall crawling.
