Third person. Hockey. Best friends sister. Forbidden romance. Swaps povs throughout chapter but it does it in an odd way. By the time it gets to the switch it’s just a reiteration of what happened with some slight changes instead of picking up where the last character left off. It seems redundant and makes the story lag, so I would just skim the section for any added info.
There has been other books that execute the pov shifts and is a hockey romance a lot better.
final thoughts I don’t know if this can be considered a sports romance… they had one practice on roller blades and the only other time hockey is mentioned is in reference to being the captains sister or staying in the hockey house. I get it it’s set during summer break and I am not a sports girly but gimme an intense game scrimmage or something to swoon over.
