Really enjoyed this! My bookclub read this and I'm really happy about the suggestion because I wouldn't pick it up myself. This is like a lighter version of Evelyn Hugo. It's a dual timeline with the main character in present day and the titular Mrs. Nash in the past. Both are love stories with very different vibes. I'd say it's present day 75% of the time and past 25%.
I like the main character, who's a former childhood star (for a short sprint) turned academic who's very quirky. There were moments where I thought she was a little too immature but I think she grew on me as the book developed. She's grumpy to the lead's sunshine.
The past timeline was beautiful and emotional. I did want the characters a little more developed here because you get more of the higher stakes part of their love story and not as much as the development (to me anyway).
