Where Lightning Strikes by A.L. Jackson

Where Lighting Strikes ....amazing , heart breaking, enduring book. Lyrik is the bad boy Rocker who does not spend more then one night with a woman. Tamar is the striking, pin up model looking, take no crap woman who runs Charlie's bar. When they first look at each other they feel the current right away, she constantly turns him down. She does not need a man in her life! After so long of turning him down they finally give in to their feelings but they agree ...it's just sex...nothing else. They start to feel things neither one wants to feel, but neither talks about. Lyrik asks for 2 months and Tamar agrees. He likes the way she fits with his friends. She likes the way he makes her feel safe. Both are hiding some big things, when his true feeling slip out and Tamar confronts him on it he flips out and closes himself off. Tamar takes off and decides she needs to finally confront her past and stop running. After Tamar leaves Lyrik realizes that he cannot move forward without confronting his past. This book pulled at my heart strings and I felt all the hurt they were holding back. A.L. Jackson wrote a fantastic story and I loved that we got to see Baz and Shea and all the other band members in this book also.
